Emma & Phil’s family

Last weekend I met up with my lovely loyal clients, Emma and Phil with their gorgeous children for a great family photo session.

I have been photographing Phil and his family for nearly 10 years now. It’s lovely when clients come back to me and recommend me to family and friends….you can’t beat that!! I photographed Phil with his brothers and sister 10 years ago as a present for their parents, next came various family weddings and family portrait shoots, Phil & Emma’s wedding followed by baby Charlie a couple of years later and now of course baby Libby.

Here are a few of my personal favourites from a great fun session with lots of laughs…

Saffy & Will…

Here are a couple of my favourites from a recent session with Saffy & Will.
Saffy had me in fits of giggles with her funny expressions…such a gorgeous little girl.

Catch up…

So, my blog has been a bit quiet lately although I certainly haven’t been.

I’m so busy at the moment that the blog has been slightly neglected purely because there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day.
I have a few dates still available so if you are looking for the ideal Christmas gift please contact me to book your session. The Christmas deadline is 21st November, after this time I cannot guarantee that your order will be ready in time for Christmas.

See you soon….

Jack…

I’m playing catch up as I’ve been a little bit busy.

Meet Jack, nearly 12 months old. This was Jack’s last First Steps session, you can see his last two sessions earlier in the blog.
I met Jack with his mummy and daddy in a local park for his final session. Jack wasn’t sure about having his photographs taken at first but he soon warmed up and kept us on our toes running around after him.

I love seeing babies grow during their first year, either through my First Steps package or with my Tiny Moments package. They change so much and start to develop their own character which is why it is so important to capture their innocence during this time.

Here are a few of my favourites from the session…

Iona part 2…

I met up with beautiful Iona for her second First Steps session.
I met up with mummy, daddy and big sister on a dewy, sunny morning – perfect mornings for me -in Oaks Park, Carshalton. Such a lovely big park which was great for Iona to practise her walking and also to pick the many variety of flowers that were in bloom.

Here are a few of my favourites from the session….

Sweet teens…

On friday, as a birthday treat for my neice, I took some photographs of her and her two best friends.

The weather wasn’t on our side and I couldn’t do the shots that I had in mind due to the horrible damp grey August day so we just made the most of my house and local park. As a professional photographer I am confident to make the most of my surroundings if the weather is horrible…unlike some photographers these days, but that is for another post which will come later!
Teenagers these days are so used to taking their own ‘angled’ photos in the mirror, whilst posing and pouting, so I wanted to completely stay away from that!

Matilda’s party…

Sadly, it’s the last session for Matilda as we’ve now completed her Tiny Moments package as she celebrated her first birthday with a summer birthday party and a fantastic birthday cake!

It’s been lovely photographing Matilda and her big sister Tabitha throughout the last year and seeing them grow. I also photographed Tabitha throughout her first year too and to see the difference in the two sisters has been amazing. As an only child myself, and the mother of a 8 and half month old, it’s been so interesting seeing their differences and individuality shine through. Both delightful little girls that mummy and daddy should be very proud of.

I look forward to presenting mummy and daddy with their second baby book once it’s finished.

Here are a few shots from Matilda’s first birthday party….sadly I had to leave before the little guests came so unfortuantely no little people shots, only lots of family shots.

Gorgeous birthday girl…

The birthday girl...

Beautiful big sister…

A birthday isn’t a birthday without yummy birthday cake…

Lovely family….

Noah…

Eaarlier in this blog you will meet baby Noah. Well, here is again at 4  months young.
It was lovely to see Noah again, I couldn’t wait to see him as I love to see how the babies change – and maybe have a little cuddle too.

Noah is taking part in my Tiny Moments package so this Noah’s second session. The third session will be when he will be 6/7 months. I love seeing the babies grow and change at each session, especially when it comes to designing the books after the first birthday.
The baby book is a great reminder of how teeny tiny your little bubba was….the newborn time is so precious, you’ll never get that time or those moments back again and it goes by in a flash so what better way to record it than by having beautiful newborn photographs taken of your little one.

Here’s Noah…

Max….

Last week I photographed baby Max, 8 months old.
I know he’s got a towel on in all of these shots but I thought these looked cute.

Check out his gorgeous lips…
